SEO Unleashed: Boosting Your Online Visibility Effectively
In today’s digital landscape, mastering Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is crucial for any business aiming to enhance its online visibility.
Ecommerce is thriving and online marketing is help making it possible. That should come as no surprise to many especially with the worldwide current events. More people are working from home and there has been an increase in startup businesses. Plus, those with existing brick and mortar shops are taking them online.
While this may be good for some, others are reluctant due to the high costs involved when selling online. For example, many marketplaces charge you a fee just to list your products for sale on their online platforms. This, however, is changing. Take Google Shopping, for instance. Google shopping is now allowing business owners to list their products for free!
To get your product listed for free check out the following steps:
Go to Google Merchant Center and set up an account by creating a Gmail account. If you already have one then all you need to do is sign in. Once you’re in, fill out the required information about your business and provide your website’s URL. This is so that Google can verify your account.
Now that you’ve set up your account, the next thing you want to do is list your products or upload them to Google. The primary use for a Merchant Center Account is to provide information about your products (inventory). Make sure you present the most up-to-date information about the goods you are selling.
If you create Shopping ads in your Google Ads account, it provides a way to fetch all the products in your feed (a pay-per-click tool). It also makes all your products available across Google.
Google Shopping makes it easy to set up your online marketing campaign to get traffic to your products. First thing you need to do if you don’t already have a Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords) account is to get one. If you have an account already, go to the Campaign tab and click it. Give your campaign a name. This will help you keep better track of how your campaign is working. This is particularly handy if you have more than one shopping campaign.
Next, click the Select account drop-down menu and choose the Google Merchant Center account associated with your Merchant ID.
You can choose your “Country of Sale” for the state where every one of your items in this campaign are to be sold. You can also go to advanced settings if necessary.
Whether you sell products from a brick and mortar store and want to sell them online or a new business looking to sell products online, Google Shopping is a great way to get it done. Digital marketing will make it easier for people to find you and get traffic to your products.
You can also simplify getting paid because Google has made this easier too! How? Google has partnered with PayPal so all you have to do is get your products listed on Google Shopping and connect your PayPal account and your visitors can make purchases on the spot.
So, what are you waiting for?
